  Stopped going here after the staff turned over a few months back. The place lost the service and charm. We complained the bread served with soup was day old and they brought more of the same even though the daily bread delivery just walked in. Maybe things will turn around here. I recommend the "spoon" a few blocks west. .....A breakfast and lunch diner with the classic atmosphere not found in modern chain restaurants. . . If you like soup, they are usually ready by 8AM. You can order soup by the cup or a medium or large bowl. If you try Louis, try their soups. Open til 3:30PM, no dinner menu.
